Description
Kabwata Cultural Village, along Burma Road in Lusaka, offers a vibrant gateway into Zambia’s artistic heart. Operated by the Kabwata Visual Arts & Cultural Association (KAVICA), it hosts over 70 skilled artisans exhibiting and selling handmade crafts — woodcarvings, beads, textiles, drums, masks and more — all crafted in true local tradition. Visitors can sample authentic Zambian meals at the Tigwilizane Restaurant, enjoy open-air settings in traditional huts, and often catch music, dance or storytelling performances. It’s an immersive cultural experience that connects heritage, artistry, flavour, and community.
