Chimfunshi Wildlife Orphanage and Trust

Located just off Solwezi Road in Chingola, Chimfunshi Wildlife Orphanage and Trust is one of the world’s oldest—and Zambia’s largest—sanctuaries for rescued chimpanzees and diverse wildlife. Spread across lush Miombo forest and Kafue River woodlands, the reserve offers close-up wildlife observation, educational bush trails, canoeing, and birdwatching, all within enclosures that mimic natural habitats.
